ADMISSION TO THE NATURE CENTER
Effie Yeaw is a community-supported Nature Center. We do not charge admission, but donations and memberships are encouraged to support programming and keep our doors open. Suggested donation is $5 per person. Members receive a parking pass for the EYNC parking lot!
NO DOGS ALLOWED IN THE NATURE STUDY AREA
Please keep pets at home. Service animals as defined by the ADA are welcome.
NO COLLECTING
Collecting or harvesting natural elements from the Nature Study Area (NSA) is prohibited per The American River Parkway Plan NSA Guidelines.
FOOD AND ALLERGY WARNING
Fish and Nuts are used in some of our programs in public spaces.
WE ARE NOT A WILDLIFE RESCUE
We are not permitted to receive injured animals. Call 311 to be connected with the appropriate wildlife rescue organization if you need assistance.

​UNSCHEDULED GROUPS​
Groups without scheduled programs are welcome in the Nature Center and Nature Study Area after 1:00 pm. Unscheduled or walk-in groups are required to pay County Park entrance fees: $7 per car ($10 on holidays & holiday weekends) or $28 per bus. According to the American River Parkway Plan, groups walking the trails must have 20 or less. Please call the Nature Center ahead of time and register as a walk-in group.
