Support Us

The Effie Yeaw Nature Center thrives because of you.
As a community service of the American River Natural History Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, everything we do—from hands-on education programs to caring for our animal ambassadors—is powered by the generosity of our community.

Who We Serve

We bring nature to life for students across Northern California. Working with schools in eight counties and serving over 190 schools—including Sacramento, Placer, and Yolo—we deliver hands-on, unforgettable learning experiences that reach thousands of students every year.

From interactive field trips to in-school programs, we ignite curiosity, explore local ecosystems, and inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.
