Effie Yeaw Nature Center offers its Assembly Building for rent to organizations and agencies for meetings, workshops, educational programs, and compatible special events. The building, dedicated in 2004, is spacious with a flexible layout and a covered patio. It can accommodate up to 100 (seated) to 130 (standing) people in one room or be divided into three rooms for smaller gatherings. However, due to its location in the American River Parkway, there are restrictions to ensure events align with the park's regulations, such as no loud amplified music allowed indoors or outdoors. Non-amplified acoustic music is permitted. Please see the Policies and Guidelines for restrictions on use.​
