30-minute presentation followed by a 1-hour guided hike.
Time & Location
Nov 25, 2026, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Effie Yeaw Nature Center, 2850 San Lorenzo Way, Carmichael, CA 95608
About the event
Learn about the different types of squirrels that live in the area and how they adapt to the changing seasons. We’ll take a walk through the oak woodland to see how many squirrels we can find (bonus points if they have an acorn or walnut in their mouth)!
*In the event of inclement weather, a craft will be provided instead of a hike.
