01
Monarchs
The Habitat Restoration Team (HRT) became activated by EYNC Volunteers and California Naturalists committed to learning more about our local monarch population by documenting egg laying and larval activity in our Showy Milkweed (Asclepias speciosa) population.
02
Native Plants
After wondering why monarch activity was not being observed in a wild patch of milkweed in the Nature Study Area (NSA), HRT team was born when they went to work to plan and deliver native pollinator plant beds and the irrigation necessary for success.

03
Invasive Plants
More native plants successfully planted and sustained through several seasons.
