Building Plans

New Aviary

We are excited to share our plans for a new aviary at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center. This project aims to replace the current outdated facilities used to house our live animal ambassadors.

The new aviary, located adjacent to the Museum Building on the north side, will provide a secure and improved habitat for our birds. It will also offer an enhanced viewing area for visitors, enriching the overall educational and interpretive experience.

Additionally, the aviary will feature an improved work area for our dedicated staff, ensuring the best possible care for our animal residents. We believe that this project will not only benefit the animals but also enhance the experience of everyone who visits the Nature Center.

We invite you to join us in this exciting endeavor and help us create a better home for our feathered friends. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of these amazing creatures and enrich our community's connection to nature.
